I am late with this blog, apologies, still suffering from the wonderful information overflow from last weekends excellent event. Good workshops and excellent keynotes were balanced with even better talks between the talks. I had to make decisions about short talk and boot visits like a butterfly, mingling and continuing to explore whats there. ManagerSeminare has invited to join the conference “Lernen. Leisten. Leben.“ on 1st and 2nd April at Steigenberger Grandhotel, Petersberg nearby Bonn. The leading topic of theses7th Petersberger Trainertage about learning, achievements and living was clearly more than double-bind. I have finished almost two books since then - one is about marketing for coaches, the other is Breuer/Frot ´s book Das emotionale Unternehmen. Interesting stuff; I am somewhere in the middle now. Now lets go to Petersberg:
The congress for coaches, trainers and HR experts has its focus on a life area, where more and more tensions are coming up, as conflicting expectations about involvement, motivation are meeting limited resources and experienced information and work overloads. So the focus was on work challenges and their management - with special focuses on burn-out and drifted into the broad field of keeping healthy or regaining balance in life.
Participants were invited to join ideas from different point of views, to learn to relax and let go or to buy into interesting ideas. The keynotes were especially interesting for me, as having been abroad for 4 years, keynotes from Dr. Gunther Schmidt, Lothar Seifert and especially internationally well-known keynote “soul-woman” Molly Harvey have been very inspiring. All of them have opened the boarders for things to happen in the future, each on their field of expertise.
All talks and workshops have been embedded in grafic recording and archery, grafic recording was interesting to see as benchmark, as I have started - with good success - to use grafics whenever possible. It is possible quite often, and people are very enthusiastic about my grafics. That´s pretty good for a start. I even use grafics in coaching. It gives new perspectives ; ))
